Matrix Private Capital Group is a diversified asset management firm founded in 2016 by a team of investment and wealth management professionals led by Richard S. Fuld, Jr. We serve high net worth individuals, family offices and institutions.

Dick is the Founder and CEO of Matrix Private Capital Group. He is responsible for guiding the firm’s strategy and operations in addition to advising clients and portfolio companies’ senior management teams in developing and implementing corporate strategies. Dick is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Lehman Brothers. He previously served as a member of the Business Council, the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum, the Board of Governors of the New York Stock Exchange, the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dick received his B.A. from the University of Colorado and his M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business.
Marc co-leads the firm’s Private Equity business and supports Strategic Advisory client relationships. As Chief Operating Officer, Marc is also responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the firm. Prior to Matrix Private Capital Group, Marc spent eight years at Matrix Advisors and five years at Lehman Brothers, with experience in investment banking, strategic advisory, direct investing and executing proprietary M&A transactions in Lehman Brothers’ Corporate Strategy Group. Marc graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College.
Dan is the CEO of Matrix Financing Solutions and supports Strategic Advisory operations. Prior he was at GE and GE Capital for over 20 years, where he held various C-level roles all over the world, while building both firms’ finance capabilities and processes. He also served on GE Capital’s Investment Committee. Additionally at GE, Dan was CEO of Asia & Pacific for GE Transportation Finance, CEO of GE Equipment Services Asia and Director – Asset Management for GE Equipment Services Europe. Prior to GE, Dan worked at Lehman Brothers within the Fixed Income Group. Dan is also a Board Member and advisor to Turning Rock Partners. Dan holds degrees in LLB, MBA, MA (Theology), M.Com. He is a Certified Public Account (C.P.A.), Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and holds a U.S. patent for GE.
Scott is a wealth advisor and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with over 20 years of experience working with affluent families, executives and entrepreneurs. He has built his practice on three principles: putting clients’ interests first, providing exceptional service, and taking an integrated approach to comprehensive wealth management. Prior to joining Matrix, Mr. Weissman was an Executive Director, President’s Club-level wealth advisor and Alternative Investment Director at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Weissman was honored to be named to the 2019 Forbes Best-in-State financial advisor list for Illinois. (1) Mr. Weissman began his career at ABN AMRO Bank as a credit analyst and grew into a lending capacity with the bank’s North American subsidiary, LaSalle National Bank. He graduated from Indiana University.

The Forbes list of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors 2019 is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. There were 29,334 advisers nominated and 12% were included in the list.
Tom joins after 15 years at Morgan Stanley in Chicago. While there, Mr. Bruce was First Vice President, Alternative Investment Director and Century Club-level financial advisor. In 2018, he was honored to be named to the Forbes List of America’s Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors. (1) Mr. Bruce takes pride in building sophisticated, creative and customized portfolio solutions for affluent families scattered throughout the country. He began his career at Deutsche Asset Management after earning his B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign.

The ranking is based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data includes client service models, investing process, businesstypes, leveraging a team and firm resources, experience levels and credentials. The quantitative data includes revenue produced, assets under management, compliance records and industry experience. There were 23,862 advisers nominated and 4% were included in the list.
Charlie is a member of the Private Equity investment team. His primary responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction origination and structuring. Charlie also helps lead the firm’s Strategic Advisory business. Prior to joining Matrix Private Capital Group, Charlie was an investment banking analyst at Fieldstone Private Capital Group focused on financial analysis and due diligence for M&A and capital solicitation assignments in renewable and thermal power, infrastructure, energy efficiency and alternative fuels. Charlie graduated from the University of Vermont.
Danny is a member of the Private Equity investment team and assists the firm’s Strategic Advisory Business. His primary responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction origination and structuring. Prior to joining Matrix Private Capital Group, Danny was an investment banking analyst at Kroll Securities focused on M&A in healthcare services. Danny graduated from Washington and Lee University.
Cathy joined Matrix in 2019 as a Client Service Director. Her main focus is maintaining and servicing the entire spectrum of client relationships. Additionally, she supports Tom Bruce and Scott Weissman in Matrix’s Chicago office. Prior to joining Matrix, Cathy was a Portfolio Associate at Morgan Stanley. Cathy graduated from DePaul University.
Marisa joined Matrix in 2019 as a Client Service Director. She leverages a career of various client-facing roles in wealth management to deliver a tailored experience for Matrix’s clients. Prior to Matrix, Marisa spent 12 years between Cresset Wealth Advisors and Neuberger Berman, where she worked within teams providing customized advice to closely-held business owners, C-suite executives, financial sponsors, successful individuals and non-profit organizations on how to achieve their specific wealth goals. Marisa Graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BS in Finance.
Marta joined Matrix in 2019 as a Senior Executive Assistant. She supports Dick Fuld both professionally and personally. Prior to joining joining Matrix, she spent over 10 years supporting senior executives at Cerberus Capital. Previous to her time at Cerberus, she worked in a similar role for several hedge funds. Marta graduated from Sarah Lawrence College.
Tristan is a member of the Private Equity investment team and assists the firm’s Strategic Advisory Business. His primary responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction structuring. Prior to joining Matrix Private Capital Group, Tristan was an investment banking intern at Cedar Street Capital focused on due diligence for investments in FinTech, Cryptocurrency/Blockchain, and Gaming. Tristan graduated from Fordham University and is currently pursuing his MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Tanya joined Matrix in 2024 as an Executive Administrator. She supports Dick Fuld both professionally and personally. Prior to joining Matrix, she spent several years supporting the Technology team at Houlihan Lokey as an Executive Administrator. Before Houlihan Lokey, she worked as the Senior Executive Administrator for 20 years at McMickens, Curtis, Ellis and Moore, a Criminal and Civil litigation firm.
